So how can you get hundreds, or thousands or even millions of website visitors from facebook? Well the first thing you want to do is get a facebook account (not everybody has one yet).

Already got a facebook account? Great, depending on the type of business you are operating, you may wish to open a new separate account. Most times, your personal account should be fine. Either way, the important thing is that you know how a facebook account works and how to use it.

You now want to create your facebook wall so that it is clear to others, what type of business you have and how you can help them. So, you could link to sites of interest, write useful articles, etc. Basically, you will be inviting people to join you as a friend, so you want to make sure that you give them a reason to join with you. You certainly want to demonstrate your usefulness.

Make Friends

Next, you want to do everything you can to increase your list of friends. You need friends to get viral. Each friend you gain may take time, but each of your friends has friends. The more friends you have, the more friends of friends you have, and so on. So, one friend equals tens or hundreds of friends of friends.

Look for like minded people, interested in the subject matter of your business. You could visit related forums to find friends. You can use e-mail and any existing websites you have. Look through facebook itself for people commenting about similar subject matter. You can search (with your favorite search engine) for "your subject matter facebook.com". Do so while logged in to your facebook account, so you can ask the people you find to become a friend.

Be Useful

Keep posting helpful and useful stuff on your wall. Best not to post affiliate links for everything or you will loose friends quicker than you could make them. Help people to get what they want and throw in the odd similarly helpful thing that incidentally makes you money.
